Dragons is a big character in almost all the stories kids want to hear. They are just fascinated by the size of this creature, fire it spits out, how it fights with other monsters.
Give him some mythological books as well to read – its a good exercise for him to read through it and sketch with imagination of what he understood of the story.
Sahil can sketch big ones on newsprint, because its a huge animal even in our imagination that we need enough space on the paper to sketch it like that. Like in some of the sketches tail is downwards because size of paper is small. He will have big strokes on large size papers which will give him lot of freedom.
