Hopefully this does not mean that the iPhone App Store is taking on the trend of Xbox LIVE Arcade and PSN prices, which used to all be $5.00 and now most games are at least $10.00. Fortunately, two of the games that are $.99–Battle Zone 1942 and Draw Slasher–seem to be the best games of the bunch.
Tank Escape ($.99) – Players use the virtual d-pad to move the tank from the left side of the screen to the right as quickly as possible, all while avoiding all incoming missiles.
On their community blog, Sega is asking fans for suggestions as to what their next clash of clans defense strategy should be. The condition is that the game has to be something Sega made and isn’t a brand new idea (sorry, wannabe iPhone devs…. oh, wait….). Battle Zone 1942 ($.99) – Battle gigantic naval fleets in the English Channel during World War II along with six other ships in the Allied fleet. Players view the action from a small port in the ship can fire cannons or call in airstrikes.
