Public Group active 12 years, 2 months agoIt is common for us to use a lot of pillows to provide comfort during sleep. People need something cozy and relaxing at the end of their tiring day. For pregnant women, the necessity for comfort is required even more. Many times it’s necessary for pregnant women, usually about their second trimester, to utilize a lot of pillows at bedtime to sleep comfortably. As their belly grows, they have increased discomfort and therefore require an array of pillows to try to support their belly, neck, and back. It is very common for pregnant woman to suffer from back, neck, hip, and leg pains. In addition, they also suffer from other conditions like heartburn, nasal congestion, and sciatica. Thanks to manufacturers like Leachco, the problem is solved.
This could be called a “high risk-high reward” pillow. Most users either love it and recommend it as the best or they hate it as its too big or too hot and so on.
The ideal position is lying on your side with a travel pillows between your knees/thighs and another behind your back. The pillow between your legs offers support and relieves some of the pressure on your hips, while the pillow behind your back allows you to lie back slightly when you want to reposition. This gives you a range of motion and also gives your back a break. This way, you have the option to lie at almost any angle on each side, instead of being restricted.
14. I love music and love to sing. My children responded to that inside the womb and continued to respond to that after they were born. I’m sure they recognized some of the music that I was practicing when I was pregnant. We were doing Handel’s Messiah the spring that I was pregnant. I had to drop out because I couldn’t breathe well enough to hold the notes. I cried! When the boys were about 18 months old, it was on TV, and one of them broke out in a perfect Soprano line of the Halleluiah chorus. Of course, he couldn’t pronounce the “l’s”, but he was spot on with the notes. One of the other ones loved to conduct, and was right on the beat. At a year or so old!
During pregnancy week 15, you may notice that you have a more bloated abdomen. You may even look pregnant _ some women “show” sooner than others. Your uterus has either already risen, or it is starting to rise past your hipbone.
Some of the pregnancy books, movies or magazines that you read and watched during your pregnancy may have some helpful information for the first months or even first year with your baby. When this is the case there is no reason to pack them away, but if the extension of the information that they offered ended at birth you should pack them away if you know that you are going to read or watch them again and if not then donate them or give them a friend or family member that is having a baby.
Resist the urge to lie down immediately after your meals. You may want to sit up or walk around the house. This will give your body a chance to digest the food that you just ate.
